    • Bill Hart
      • Retired from working as a DSP engineer at Rockwell Collins. He worked on digital filtering, radio receivers and transmitters, and data transmission.
      • Went to Iowa State University a long time ago.
      • Enjoys old-time music.
      • Plays harmonica and second fiddle in "The Ridgerunners" band.
      • Enjoys barn dances. with old-fashioned square dancing and New England style contra dances.
      • Has operated sound reinforcement systems for dances, bands, and the CSPS concert venue operated by Legion Arts .
      • As amateur radio operator WB0TXY, had lots of fun at transmitter hunts. Not very active now, just monitoring storm watch.
      • Enjoys solving puzzles, particularly ones that yield to math or following a string of clues.
      • Researches Genealogy and History. Interested in the Red Rock Line surveyed after a treaty with the Sac and Fox (Meskwaki).
      • Has been finding Benchmarks, (which are more interesting than Geocaches) and discussing on the benchmark hunting forum.
      • Uses an old Trimble 4000sse GPS receiver to submit GPSonBM data to NGS.
      • Belongs to the Surveyors Historical Society and follows the RPLS Today surveyors forum.
      • Volunteered for three digs run by the Office of the State Archaeologist as a member of the Iowa Archaeological Society.
      • Has tinkered with fiction writing and enjoys the Noble Pen critique group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
    • Karen Pierce is married to Bill
      • Does Data Analysis for Unity Point St. Lukes Hospital in the Performance Improvement department.
      • Karen plays Hammered Dulcimer ( see also here, and Photos) and likes the old-time square and contra dances.
      • Sings and plays with the Deep Dish Divas ( facebook) (You Tube)
      • Plays traditional music in The Ridgerunners, and sometimes plays with Celtic and other groups.
